Who is Profound?

I name my PCs and electronics after famous or my favourite porn stars. Jenna Jameson was the IT for me for a very long time- from as far back as high school hence my desktop from high school has been named Jenna.

Jenna ruled in her time but the world is moving ahead of her. She is still sexy but I don’t think she can keep up with today’s gaming requirements. I was recently roughly and aggressively hit in my face by an Overlord installation telling me that I do not meet the requirements. When Hitman: Blood Money did that to me I just got the Xbox version but I am not backing down with this highly anticipated Overlord game.

On a whim I decided to get a new motherboard, processor and graphics card from Newegg. Newegg.com usually rejects my credit card- hence I typically shop at Amazon.com for my electronics. Newegg is by far the best and better online electronics store so I haven’t really bought much from Amazon. Imagine my joy when my transaction went through.

I know what you are thinking- the Brisbane runs hot and why get 8500 when I can get 8800. Simple: Price!! This is the most affordable set I have ever seen. I left the scene between six and eight months ago when the processor was going for U$300. Imagine my glee to know I can get it for less than 100. I am overjoyed.

I still have a few things I need that I will be getting from newegg. First I will get the memory then in about a month I will switch from stock cooling to aftermarket cooling devices.

My good friend Yatta should be able to hook me up with the most price effective Case and PSU from a local store and then I should be set to play early to mid-August.
